We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team. You’ll collaborate on exciting new projects with our design and digital teams to create innovative designs for apps, websites and software. This is an opportunity to become a key part of a growing UX and digital marketing agency.

Requirements

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer who brings ideas to life while keeping users at the heart of every design decision. Here’s what we’d love to see in our ideal candidate:

Proven Expertise

  • At least 4+ years of full-time UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design for apps and websites.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using Figma for designing and prototyping interfaces.

Data-Driven Approach

  • Strong understanding of user behaviour and data analysis, with a proven ability to integrate insights into design.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques to inform design decisions.
  • Broad experience in leading and carrying out UX research studies, including usability testing, user surveys, interviews, and website/app audits.
  • Experience creating key UX artefacts such as site maps, user flows, personas, and wireframes.

Design and Creativity

  • Ability to craft visually stunning, progressive, and engaging UI designs based on client briefs and UX research.
  • Creative flair for generating outstanding concepts, styles, and unique interfaces.

AI tools

  • Proficiency in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, MidJourney, and Wevo to streamline workflows, prototype ideas, and boost productivity.

Visual and Technical Excellence

  • Deep affinity with interface design principles including layout, concept, typography and accessibility.
  • Significant experience in creating and managing UI style guides and large-scale design systems.
  • A meticulous eye for detail—pixel-perfect precision in every design element.

Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and a wide range of design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge in designing universally accessible designs compliant with WCAG guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with developers, including preparing detailed handover documentation.

Organisational Excellence

  • Effective time management skills to easily juggle multiple tasks, priorities, and projects.
  • Experience estimating project scope, timing, and costs accurately.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Developed interpersonal and communication skills to present and sell design concepts, while remaining open to feedback.

Strategic Growth

  • Partner with agency management to grow the business and expand the UX team, contributing ideas and leadership to drive success.

Creative Vision

  • Strong conceptual thinking for digital advertising campaigns, including concept creation and art direction.

Technical Fluency

  • Understanding of technologies like WordPress, Shopify, iOS, and Android, enabling seamless collaboration with developers and product teams.

Animation

  • Creative design skills with the ability to storyboard animation sequences and contribute to video and animation production.

Web Development Knowledge

  • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and front-end development frameworks, ensuring designs are practical and achievable in code.

Permanent Role

Experience: 4+ years

Salary: €60,000 – €70,000 depending on experience

This is a hybrid role (2 days remote, 3 days on site) so you must be based in Ireland to apply.
